(What’s included in the one-time start fee)
When you get started with our platform, we want you up and running quickly – with a solution that fits your workflow and your brand from day one. We don’t just hand over a login.
The start fee includes:
Hands-on help setting up your report template
The onboarding is designed to give you a report setup that reflects your visual identity and the way your team normally presents survey results.
PowerPoint reports setup
All setup levels include implementation of your PowerPoint theme.
This means we configure Survey Automator so that generated reports use your:
- Fonts
- PowerPoint theme colours for charts and other visualisations
- Selected endpoint colours for scale and Likert questions
The PowerPoint reports will also include your standard:
- Cover page
- About the study page
- Section pages
- Closing page
We implement these pages with dynamic bookmark fields so that they are automatically included and populated in reports generated by the platform.
In addition to this common theme setup, each level includes a different number of new or modified report template pages.
A report template page is a unique PowerPoint page layout and visualisation setup linked to a rule that determines when it should be used. Examples include:
- Likert grid questions with up to 10 grid rows
- Multiple-select questions with up to 10 answer alternatives
- Non-scale questions broken down by up to three segments
Level 1
Select one of our standard reports here to use as your starting point. The setup includes up to five new or modified report template pages compared with your chosen template.
Level 2
Includes up to 15 new or modified report template pages within one report template variant.
Level 3
Includes up to 30 new or modified report template pages, which can be distributed across up to two report template variants.
Excel cross-tab setup
All levels also include configuration of your Excel cross-tabs based on your reporting preferences.
You can decide:
- Which significance tests should be included
- Which calculations should be shown, such as averages, 0-100 calculations, top boxes and NPS
- Whether each breakdown should be presented in a separate Excel sheet or all breakdowns should be included in the same sheet
This gives you a consistent Excel output that matches the way your team prefers to analyse and deliver survey results.
How the onboarding works
1. Kick-off meeting
We review your example projects, reporting requirements and priorities together.
We discuss which charts, layouts and report structures are most important to include in your setup.
2. Template and rule development
We adapt our standard reporting rules to your PowerPoint design and create the agreed report template pages.
The normal preparation time is 1-3 weeks, depending on the selected level and the complexity of your PowerPoint template.
3. Review meeting
We demonstrate the reports generated from your example projects directly in Survey Automator.
Together, we review the PowerPoint output, Excel cross-tabs and how the reporting setup works in practice.
4. Refinements
One round of agreed changes is included.
The normal implementation time for these changes is approximately one additional week.
5. Platform training
Two additional web meetings are included to help your team start using the platform.
For example, we can join you while you create your first report, allowing you to ask questions and receive practical guidance directly in the platform.
Why we charge a start fee
Every research team works slightly differently.
The start fee ensures your setup is tailored to your reporting style and that your team gets the right support from day one.
This is not a generic software activation.
It’s a structured start designed to create long-term efficiency.
