You can host the platform on your own infrastructure, access the source code and choose when, or if, you want to take development in-house.

The license can be paid upfront or, subject to agreement, divided into monthly payments over 24 months.
The license gives your organisation and its subsidiaries the right to use the licensed modules indefinitely.

For very high volumes, additional server infrastructure may be required to maintain performance.
The license does not include the right to sell or sublicense Survey Automator to other organisations.
Full source code access is available from the start.
Your organisation has the right to modify and further develop the platform for its own use and for use within its subsidiaries.
This gives you the option to gradually take greater control of development rather than having to build a new platform from scratch.
The license does not give you the right to resell Survey Automator, your modified version of Survey Automator, or platform licenses to other organisations.
You do not need to take responsibility for development from day one.
Research Automators can continue to develop the standard Survey Automator platform while your team uses the platform and builds up the internal knowledge needed to take over more development if you choose.
You can access and review the source code without affecting your access to our software updates.
If your organisation starts modifying the core source code and deploys its own modified version of the platform in production, standard Research Automators software updates will no longer be included.
This is because we cannot guarantee compatibility between future Survey Automator releases and a separately modified codebase.
Your perpetual right to use and continue developing your own version of the platform remains unchanged.
Research Automators software updates are included for the first five years, provided your organisation continues to operate the standard Survey Automator codebase.
After five years, continued access to Research Automators software updates is available for:

If you choose not to continue receiving our software updates, your perpetual license remains valid and you can continue using the version of Survey Automator you already have.
The license includes direct access to our CTO and key developer to help with implementation, migration, integrations and adapting Survey Automator to your organisation.

140 additional hours for continued implementation, development and transition.
10 hours of helpdesk support per month for the first 24 months.
Additional support can be purchased after the initial 24-month period.
You can host Survey Automator on your own servers or infrastructure.
Alternatively, Research Automators can host the platform for you.
Research Automators hosting: €1,500 per server/month.
The number of servers required depends on usage volumes and how surveys, projects and reporting workloads are distributed.
You can also move from Research Automators hosting to your own infrastructure at a later stage.
You can host Survey Automator on your own servers or infrastructure.
Alternatively, Research Automators can host the platform for you.
Research Automators hosting: €1,500 per server/month.
The number of servers required depends on usage volumes and how surveys, projects and reporting workloads are distributed.
You can also move from Research Automators hosting to your own infrastructure at a later stage.
The perpetual license can be used by your organisation and its subsidiaries, including future subsidiaries within the same group.
The platform can therefore be used across different business units, countries or companies within your organisation without additional platform license fees.
The restriction remains that licenses or access to the platform cannot be sold to external organisations.
The license can be transferred as part of a sale, merger or restructuring of the licensed organisation.
Detailed terms for ownership changes and transfers are defined in the license agreement.
